Cardig Air is one of the leading cargo airline in Indonesia with its head office and home base at Jakarta, Indonesia. It operates scheduled all-cargo services across Asia and Indonesia as well as charter services to various domestic and regional destinations. Cardig Air owns and operates three Boeing 737-300 aircraft which had been converted to freighters. Cardig Air operates scheduled international flights connecting Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh, and Shenzhen, as well as scheduled domestic flights connecting Jayapura and Wamena.
History
Cardig Air was established in April 2004. In July 2008, a group of investors injected new capital and acquired majority stake in Cardig Air from PT Cardig International. The new management replaced the company’s Boeing 737-200Cs with higher-capacity and more fuel-efficient Boeing 737-300Fs.
Our aircraft is capable of carrying CFM56-3 and CFM56-7 or smaller engines and have performed this service on behalf of Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air, Sriwijaya Air, Batavia Air, Apollo Aviation Group and other customers for domestic and International destinations. Cardigair is granted permission to carry dangerous goods by the Indonesian Directorate General Civil Aviation (DGCA) and Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS).
Cardigair is the first air carrier in Indonesia to use satLINK, the Iridium™, satellite-based voice and data communications alternative. With the latest requirement from the aviation Authority, Cardigair has implemented certain configurations such as TCAS Traffic Collisions Avoiding System, EGPWS Enhance Ground Proximately Warning System, DFDR Digital Flight Data Recorder, Reinforce Flight Deck Door, and Wind Shear Detection System.
