Jakarta, March 12th, 2018 – Indonesia National Air Carriers Association (INACA) holds the 5th Indonesia National Air Carriers Association (IATEC) at the Grand Mercure Hotel Harmoni, Jakarta. The summit will be held from 12-13 March and is organised by Avcon Group. INACA is bringing together Key Stakeholders and Key players in the aviation training sector to discuss current issues and challenges that the sector is facing. Carrying the theme, “Strategic Planning for the Next Generation of Aviation Professionals”, INACA is hoping that the 5th IATEC will be an asset for the improvement of Indonesian aviation.

The growth of the aviation industry cannot be separated from the support of other sectors, including human resources. Professionals human resources in quantity, quality and competency are the main pre-requisites to establish a powerful and developed aviation industry.

“As Indonesia prepares itself to move to the next level of integrating international standards in training, we must all work together as one industry, with the support of the Ministry of Transportation, and the key stakeholders to ensure that we are meeting Indonesia’s future needs for skilled aviation personnel,” said Mr. Bayu Sutanto, Chairman of Scheduled Flight INACA, in the opening speech.

INACA is also privileged to have the support and participation of key Government Partners: Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Human Resource Development on Transportation Agency (BPSDM), Austrade, and also the other international supporting organizations such as, International Air Transport Association (IATA), The Aviation Exchange – Pilot Training (AEPT), EUROCONTROL, International Aviation Womens Association (IAWA), and Professional Aviation Board of Certification (PABC).
